Phil Willis has a guitar sound 
and jazz concept rooted in the 
tradition of the great post-bop
guitarists. He studied with the 
legendary Cal Collins and has 
forged his own intelligent, 
swinging style while leading 
his own groups for 15 years. 
Phil is also an instructor in 
jazz guitar at the University of 
Cincinnati's College-
Conservatory of Music 
Preparatory Department.
